German citizens are entitled to apply for a so-called E-Visa (electronic visa) online.

E-Visa ar not valid for NGO/INGO purposes. With an E-Visa you only may enter via the followng borders:

Yangon International Airport

Nay Pyi Taw International Airport

Mandalay International Airport

Kawthaung Land Border


E-Visa for Myanmar allows for a single entry with a stay up to 28 days for tourists) and 70 days (for business). It should be applied for at least 2 weeks before the planned date of departure.
