Visa application / entry requirements: Kuwait

German citizens may get a visa on arrival (if the stay is not longer than 30 days).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL VISA CATEGORIES

• current residence registration (Meldebescheinigung) (if EU citizen) or
• valid residence permit for Germany (if not EU citizen)

E-VISA

German citizens are also entitled to apply for a so-called E-Visa (electronic visa) online.

E-Visa for Kuwait allows for a single entry with a stay up to 90 days. The E-Visa must be used within one month after issue, otherwise it expires. The actual validity of the E-Visa (up to 3 months) begins when you enter the country. Make sure to not apply for it too early.
