All applicants must apply for the regular visa electronically and can either pick it up on arrival in Tajikistan or - in connection with a personal interview - at the embassy in Berlin.

ALTERNATIVELY: You can apply for an E-Visa, which is valid for 90 days, for a single entry and a stay up to 45 days.
E-VISA
German citizens are entitled to apply for a so-called E-Visa (electronic visa) online.
E-Visa for Tajikistan is valid for 90 days from the date of approval and allows for a single entry with a stay up to 45 days. It should be applied for at least one week before the planned date of departure.
