Visa application / entry requirements: Bahrain

German citizens (and other nationalities) travelling as tourists or on business (meetings) receive a visa on arrival for a stay of up to 14 days. This can be applied for in advance or on arrival. If you wish to stay longer than 14 days in Bahrain, you must apply for a so-called e-visa (30 or 90 days stay, depending on the category)

E-VISA and visa on arrival

Germans and other nationalities are entitled to apply online for an e-visa (electronic visa) if they wish to stay in Bahrain for longer than 14 days. This authorises a stay of up to 30 or 90 days. The validity ranges from 3 months to 5 years, depending on your preference.

You can also apply for a visa on arrival in advance. This entitles you to a stay of up to 14 days and is valid for a single entry for 90 days from the date of issue.

  25.00 - 156.00 € (visa fee depending on category) plus credit card fees (may vary)
  + 60,00 € (SERVISUM fee, plus VAT)
  plus administration fee (4,50 €, incl. VAT) per order
