Consular regulations: Kuwait

Please note:

• The Kuwaiti recipient address must be indicated on all documents.
• Certifications and legalizations can only be carried out for companies located in the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany.
• Contracts and powers of attorney are to be written on their own headed paper and pre-certified by the local notary and the competent district court (submit powers of attorney and contracts in one language only).
• Commercial register excerpts must be certified by the district court and regional court.
• For the certification of the patent office, certification by the patent office is sufficient.
• Certificates and manufacturer's declarations must be certified by a notary and the competent district court.
• Certificates of origin, commercial invoices, manifest or packing lists must be certified by the competent chamber of industry and commerce.
• The country of origin and the manufacturer of the goods must be indicated on certificates of origin and commercial invoices. If materials are used that are not from the country of manufacture, their country of origin must also be indicated.
• Doctor's certificates must be pre-certified by the relevant medical association and do not require pre-certification by GHORFA.
• The documents to be legalized must be accompanied by a cover letter.

Please submit one copy of each document to be kept at the embassy. All commercial documents must be pre-certified by GHORFA. SERVISUM will be happy to do this for you.
