Visa application / entry requirements: Ethiopia


The embassy now only issues regular paper visas for diplomats.

German citizens can apply for an eVisa for a business or tourist stay of up to 90 days.

E-VISA


German citizens are entitled to apply for a so-called E-Visa (electronic visa) online. E-visas for Ethiopia entitle to a single entry with a maximum stay of 90 days.

    coloured, first double page with personal data
  • passport picture
    coloured, biometric, photo requirements

  • letter of invitation
    from company in Ethiopia
  • business license
    of inviting company
  • tax certificate (TIN)
    from company in Ethiopia
  • contractual agreement
    between the inviting company and applicant
