German citizens do not require a visa for a stay of up to 90 days if they are traveling for business or tourism. The visa is granted upon entry. Some nationalities can apply for an eVisa (electronic visa) for a tourist travel purpose. For more information, see “eVisa”.
Technicians and mechanics must apply for a visa in advance.
All travelers must submit the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online at the earliest 3 days before entry (day of entry is included!). Further information can be found under “eVisa”.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR TECHNICAL MISSIONS

The Malaysian company extending the invitation must apply to the relevant Immigration Department of the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (www.imi.gov.my) for a work permit.
The relevant consular office will only be authorized to issue the corresponding visa once the work permit has been granted.

We will be happy to apply for your Arrival Card (MDAC).
Please complete the Arrival Card form linked below and send it to us by email with the following documents:
- scan of passport (JPG)
Bio Data Page, still valid for at least 6 months
Fees per person:
the Arrival Card is free of charge
+ €40.00 (SERVISUM fee, plus VAT)
plus administrative fee (€4.50, incl. VAT) per order
Please note: If the application falls on a weekend, there is a surcharge of €20 plus VAT.
If you commission us to obtain the visa and the MDAC, we only charge €20 SERVISUM fee for the MDAC, plus VAT.
