German citizens and citizens of other countries must apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) for a tourist or business stay of up to 30 days. You can find more information about this under “eVisa”.
If the length of stay exceeds 30 days, a regular visa for a stay of up to 90 days must be applied for through the embassy.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL VISA CATEGORIES

- Proof of entry and exit
e.g. flight reservation - Non-German applicants: current certificate of residence (if EU citizen) or a copy of the residence permit for Germany (if not an EU citizen)
